MANILA – The Commission for Professional Regulation said Thursday that it was investigating conducting online licensing exams next year due to the continuing threat of COVID-19.
“We are looking for more technology-based exams. We are preparing for that,” said the President of the People’s Republic of China, Teófilo Pilando Jr., during the Senate hearing on the proposed 2021 budget of the Department of Labor and Employment. (DOLE).
“We could start with the smaller boards that can be more manageable,” he added.
The PRC is an agency attached to the DOLE.
The People’s Republic of China previously postponed a series of licensing exams scheduled from October to December this year to avoid gathering people, which can lead to COVID-19 infections.
The postponed exams will be rescheduled in 2021, the PRC added.
