PH’s COVID-19 count now at 448,331; Davao del Norte has more new cases

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines registered 1,301 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Saturday, bringing the total number of infections to 448,331.

Of the total cases nationwide, the Health Department said 6.7 percent or 30,168 are active cases.

Meanwhile, Davao del Norte topped the list of new infections nationwide. It reported 96 new cases this Saturday.

The DOH also reported a total of 409,433 COVID-19 recoveries nationwide. This includes 111 new patients who survived the disease.

Additionally, DOH documented a total of 8,730 deaths from the disease, including 35 new deaths.
