PH COVID-19 cases reach 367,819; total deaths nearly 7K

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines has reported 2,057 additional coronavirus (COVID-19) infections, bringing the total number of cases to 367,819.

As of 4 p.m. Saturday, the Department of Health (DOH) said there are a total of 47,773 active cases out of the total number of COVID-19 cases nationwide.

Meanwhile, the virus has killed 19 more infected in the country, bringing the total number of fatalities to 6,934.

Meanwhile, total recoveries in the Philippines reached 313,112, with 442 recoveries recently reported.

After validation, DOH has removed 37 duplicates from its total case count. Of the number, 21 were recoveries.

Additionally, 12 molecular labs failed to submit data to the DOH’s COVID-19 Data Repository System (CDRS) on Oct. 23, the DOH said.
