PFL: Maharlika Manila recovers to defeat Stallion-Laguna FC

Maharlika Manila FC scored twice in the second half for a 2-1 victory over Stallion-Laguna FC on Saturday in the Philippine Football League at the PFF National Training Ground in Carmona City, Cavite.

“One of the things that (team owner) Antón del Rosario told us when we formed this squad was to produce positive results and earn the respect of the big clubs and that is what we did today,” he added, while again quoting al Bandeken solid exit.

Stallion-Laguna assistant coach Richard Leyble acknowledged that fatigue took hold of his players in the second half, but praised his opponents for the way they never gave up when they fell behind.

å “Without our three starters in our first 11 it was difficult for us. That is an important factor. He is difficult. Lack of materials, ”Leyble said.
