MANILA, Philippines – A PBA player tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) inside the bubble in Pampanga.

At a press conference on Sunday, the league announced that the official who tested positive for the virus earlier this week resulted in negative confirmatory tests.

But a Blackwater Elite player tested positive and has since been isolated from the rest of the team and taken to Athletes Village in Capas, Tarlac for further testing.

The entire Elite squad has been isolated. Commissioner Willie Marcial announced that the game scheduled between Blackwater and Rain or Shine today is canceled.

But the Clasico de Manila match between Ginebra San Miguel and Magnolia Hotshots will take place at 6:45 pm.

“We’ll consider it,” Silver says in an on-court interview with NBA TV before the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat met in Game 2 of the NBA Finals in the league’s quarantine bubble in Orlando, Florida.
