Clark, Pampanga on Thursday was chosen as the host of the possible PBA season resumption on October 9 under a bubble concept.

The PBA Board of Governors made the decision after Thursday’s meeting, where other arrangements were finalized for the start of the planned bubble on October 9, provided the league receives the blessing of the Interagency Task Force.

PBA officials led by Commissioner Willie Marcial, President Ricky Vargas and Vice President Bobby Rosales said teams, officials and media will be staying at the Quest Hotel while the games will be played within the Angeles University Foundation campus. .

Vargas said at Thursday’s press conference that the league has been working closely with Base Conversion and Development President Vince Dizon and Clark Development Corporation’s Noel Manankil on the bubble.

Marcial also said the season will resume with the Philippine Cup suspended under a single-round format followed by eight-team quarterfinals (the top four with a two-time lead to beat), best-of-five semifinals and a best-of-five. -of-seven finals.
