Paul Pogba was “scolded” by former Juventus teammate Claudio Marchisio for his transfer to Man Utd, who claimed that the Frenchman had made a mistake.
The pair appeared on the same side as Juventus during Pogba’s spell at the club from 2012-2016, before their mega-money return to United.
His second stint at United has not gone as well as expected, and has now been linked with a change to Juventus this summer.
And Marchisio has already been in Pogba’s case about his return to play for the Old Lady.
“Last year I met him at a private event and said no, saying that he was wrong to decide to go to Manchester and that he should have stayed with the Bianconeri,” Marchisio told Sport Mediaset (via Football Italia).

“Now things have changed a bit, Juve’s midfield has changed, but I hope he will come back, because it would be good for both sides.”
“He already knows Serie A, he would increase quality on a team that is formidable anyway.”
The chances of Pogba moving elsewhere have been hampered by coronavirus crisis, which will impact club transfer spending.
United are still interested in maintaining Pogba’s services and hope their mini revival after Bruno Fernandes’ signing will convince the midfielder to stay.
But former United Rio defender Ferdinand believes Pogba could be better off exercising his trade outside of England.
“If I am him and I have been treated as he has been with the media, etc., I would say: ‘You know what I don’t need in my life,” said Ferdinand.
“There is more to life than coming here and being criticized when you’re not even playing. Why be part of it?”
“If I were him, honestly … United fans won’t thank me, but I’d be thinking that.”
“I think some of the criticism that he receives is unfair and part of that is based on his presence on social media, which I think is ridiculous.”
“Some players from my time did much worse things that would influence the locker room, but they got stuck under the rug. I don’t get it.”
“He is a player, he lives and breathes soccer, social media surpasses him many times, I think.”
