Kobe Paras, Isaac Go and Juan Gomez de Liaño top the 12-man roster of a young Gilas Pilipinas team that will face Thailand in the second window of the 2021 FIBA Asian Cup qualifiers in Manama, Bahrain.

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) made the announcement on their social emdai accounts on Friday morning after the teams’ technical meeting.

Joining the trio in the double header in a Bahrain bubble are Justine Baltazar Matt Nieto and Dwight Ramos, who saw action alongside Juan in the first window against Indonesia last February.

Gilas’ special recruits Mike Nieto and Rey Suerte are also in the lineup, as are Dave Ildefonso and Kemark Carino, who will debut for the senior men’s team after ranking prominently on the youth team in recent years.

The unit is completed by Javi Gómez de Liaño and Will Navarro, who will wear the tricolor for the first time in their careers.

On the list were Jaydee Tungcab and Calvin Oftana, as well as Allyn Bulanadi, who was already ruled out due to a shoulder injury he sustained during training camp.

Gilas will seek to win no. 2 and 3 when he takes on a 10-man team from Thailand twice on November 27 and 30. Kickoff for both games begins at 9pm in Manila (live on One Sports).
