Pre-orders began today for three major new products from Apple: the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPad Air. All of these devices are available to order on Apple’s website, but none ship immediately.
The planned shipping dates for all of these devices were October 23, but some are already backed up through November. In some cases, it depends on the settings you choose. At the time of writing, some iPhone 12 and iPad Air configurations will ship later, but others still include October 23 as the ship date. On the flip side, every iPhone 12 Pro setup we reviewed promises to ship in late October or sometime in November.
Additionally, Apple appears to have normalized the cost of the iPhone across all carriers after an initial uproar over the announcement of the slightly lower priced phone at AT&T and Verizon.
