MANILA, Philippines – Eduard Folayang suffered his second loss in a row, falling to Antonio Caruso by unanimous decision in his lightweight game in ONE: Inside the Matrix on Friday at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Fighting the taller and longer Caruso, Folayang struggled to close the gap and was subjected to precise strikes from the 5-foot-11 Australian.

Caruso (8-1) punched Folayang with a right uppercut that sent the Filipino icon to the mat, but failed to close the fight from the ground.

Folayang (22-10) managed to connect with his shots in the third round, but Caruso found a way to score a takedown in the closing seconds of the game.

The loss marked Folayang’s fourth loss in his last five matches, while Caruso returned to the winning column after losing his ONE debut fight against Pieter Buist in October 2019.
