ONE Championship, in association with Global Citizen, will stream the One World: Together at Home Global Music Festival on April 19.
ONE Championship may have decided to delay their live events, but it does not prevent them from helping to organize shows, especially those that have a cause during this time of need.
ONE President and CEO Chatri Sityodtong revealed on his Facebook account that the Singapore-based martial arts promotion, in association with Global Citizen, will broadcast live the Global Music Festival “One World: Together At Home” on April 19th.
The online concert will be presented by Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel, and curated in collaboration with megastar Lady Gaga.
The broadcast will feature performances and appearances by Alicia Keys, Amy Poehler, Andrea Bocelli, Awkwafina, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Burna Boy, Camila Cabello, Celine Dion, Chris Martin, David and Victoria Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Ellen DeGeneres, Elton John, FINNEAS, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, LL COOL J, Lupita Nyong’o, Maluma, Matthew McConaughey, Oprah Winfrey, Paul McCartney, Pharrell Williams, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sam Smith, Shah Rukh Khan, Shawn Mendes, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift and Usher, among others, to help raise funds to combat the dreaded COVID-19 virus.
In addition to some of the world’s biggest stars, ONE Championship’s greatest athletes and personalities will also be featured, including ONE, world heavyweight champion Brandon Vera, ONE champion of the World Flyweight Grand Prix Demetrious Johnson, ONE world champion Middleweight and Light Heavyweight Aung La N Sang, MMA Legend, Vitor Belfort, ONE Women’s Atom World Champion Angela Lee, ONE Heavyweight contender Alain Ngalani, ONE Women’s World Champion Xiong Jing Nan, ONE Lightweight contender Eddie Alvarez, ONE World Featherweight Champion Martin Nguyen, ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Stamp Fairtex, ONE Kickboxing World Grand Prix Champion Giorgio Petrosyan and ONE Championship Vice President Miesha Tate, among others.
As part of this initiative, ONE Championship will also donate 10% of all net proceeds from its new online product store, ONE.SHOP, to the WHO COVID-Solidarity Response Fund.
One World: Together At Home will air live on April 19 at 2:00 a.m. on the ONE Championship Facebook page and on the ONE Super app.
