GILAS Pilipinas coach Jong Uichico is unfazed, even if Kai Sotto doesn’t make it to the third window of the 2021 Fiba Asian Cup qualifiers in February.

Sotto will not be able to play for the national team in the final knockout window in Clark due to his obligations to Ignite, which along with 17 other teams will enter the Disney bubble in Orlando when the NBA G League celebrates its 2021 season.
That commitment will delay the debut of the 7-foot-2-inch big man, who is expected to be a cornerstone for the Filipino team at the 2023 Fiba World Cup here.

“We are still finalizing our lineup for the bubble and when will we enter,” he said.
