DESPITE the administrative charges he faces for violating health quarantine protocols, MGen. Debold Sinas could be promoted for “good performance” as chief of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), General Camilo Cascolan said Wednesday.

Commander Gen. Debold Sinas

Cascolan, the new chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), said that Sinas was “very good; he has done his job well at the NCRPO and has already contributed a lot. “

“There are many managerial positions or positions that fit Sinas,” he said in a television interview.

However, Cascolan said he would evaluate Sinas “correctly.”

Sinas drew criticism for a morning morning on his birthday on May 8, when Metro Manila was under enhanced community quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A morning is a sunrise serenade for a birthday celebrant.

Sinas, who has been the head of Metro Manila for a year, was administratively charged, along with other police officers, for violating physical distancing protocols during the party held at the NCRPO headquarters in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City.

BGen. Vicente Danao Jr. was seen as succeeding Sinas, Cascolan said.
As the current head of the Region 4A Regional Police Office (PRO-4A), Danao had performed well, Cascolan said.

“He’s doing fine. He did his best and has done well in PRO-4A. Not even that, he even has a reputation for service and is also a very competent person, “he added.
