MANILA, Philippines— “Mobile Legends Bang Bang” professional commentator Zeus Torquator was suspended indefinitely from his post at Luponwxc media studio after fellow industry professional Ma. Em “KaisayaDangla accused him of spreading copies of his private video.

“In light of Em ‘Kaisaya’ Dangla’s recent statement regarding the issue made by one of our launchers, Zeus Torquator, we are indefinitely suspending Zeus from his current position at the company,” Luponwxc said in a statement posted on Facebook on Saturday.

The development comes after Dangla, in her own Facebook post, made the disclosure that Torquator “spread, shared and showed copies” of her private video with her ex-boyfriend, Aron Laxamana.

“Obviously, the copy was transferred between the two. They are good friends, ”Dangla said.

Dangla added that due to the incident, it led her to submit a report to the Philippine National Police at Camp Crame in February 2019.

She, however, said she “did not receive justice” as there was no updated information on the case.

Aside from this, he alleged that Shin Boo “Sh1nboo” Ponferrada, who is also a veteran multi-sports commentator and streamer, refused to testify against Torquator and Laxamana. In a statement to INQUIRER.net, Dangla said Ponferrada was the last witness (from 2 to 3) the police needed, as he had also received a copy, but declined Dangla’s request that he do so.

“He could have saved a life. They let me cry every day and every night, especially when my anxiety was triggered, ”Dangla said about Ponferrada.

She added that she was motivated to speak up after seeing Ponferrada’s public post, where she called Torquator and said she declined to testify about the case regarding their friendship.

‘Lapse of judgment’

Hours after Dangla’s complaint, Ponferrada spoke about the matter, saying that he had no intention of blackmailing Torquetor.

Ponferrada added that he was disappointed that Torquetor “came back as a professional and recently as a friend.”

“I’m not mad at Em nor will I deny her [accusation] and the [judgment] of others. For Em, as I said in my messages these last days, I am still a friend, ”said Ponferrada about Dangla.

Ponferrada also admitted that his refusal to testify about the case was a “lack of judgment.”

“It was an error in judgment on my part years ago. An idea of finding the balance between the two and within myself, ”he said. Choosing both than choosing one. And sadly, choosing something that I thought was greater than justice. “

INQUIRER.net has reached out to Torquator about this, but has not yet received a response at the time of writing.
