The low pressure area (LPA) trough will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Aurora, Bulacan, Calabarzon, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Caraga and Visayas on Sunday, PAGASA said.
Flash floods or landslides are possible during moderate to heavy rains.
The Cagayan Valley and the Cordillera Administrative Region will also have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).
These areas can also experience flash floods or landslides.
Meanwhile, the Ilocos region will have partly cloudy to overcast skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
The rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to overcast skies with isolated showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides are possible in these areas.
At 3 am, an LPA was located 95 km east of Catarman, in northern Samar.
Another LPA was located 55 km southwest of the city of Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in northern Luzon, with waves of up to 4 meters.
The waters will also be moderate to rough (with waves up to 4 meters) in the eastern sections of central and southern Luzon.
In other parts of the country, coastal waters will be mild to moderate.
