KUALA LUMPUR, October 2 – With his handsome model and endearing performance as a young viscount in Enola HolmesBritish newcomer Louis Partridge is definitely someone to watch.

In the Netflix movie, Partridge plays the role of a missing marquis who meets Sherlock’s teenage sister Enola while on the run from her family.
Lord Tewksbury’s character is not your archetypal protagonist and Partridge did not shy away from the role.
“It’s a story that empowers both genders, especially women, but also Tewksbury, who is not your typical massive man of a character.
“She is actually quite feminine, she loves flowers.
“I think men will like it a lot, in the same way that women will like this new version of Enola, who is this great, strong character,” Partridge said.
He added that he has a bit of Tewksbury that he brought to the role.

Viewers first meet Tewksbury about 20 minutes after the movie on a train where the actor opens a suitcase.
“Yes, it was so hot because it was such a thick bag that I had to cut it.

He thinks strong women should be celebrated
Given the film’s powerful feminist message, Partridge said there are many takeaways from the film, especially the character pushing Enola’s boundaries.
“There is the unexpected Enola being completely unorthodox and being rejected by Mycroft, but in reality, she is an incredible person who should be celebrated and not forced to conform.
“That is a really important message now more than ever to be honest,” he said.
His lockdown routine involves a lot Strawberry Nesquik
The London native has been homebound due to the Covid-19 pandemic and, like many around the world, food is a big part of his lockdown routine.
“I have been eating a lot. “The Nesquik strawberry with milk is my favorite, I love it so much, too much,” he confessed.
The actor also spends his time at home playing the piano and cycling.
“I realize that I use public transport everywhere and it is much faster to ride my bike in London, where the roads are quite congested.”
He’s bad at solving mysteries
Partridge may be one of the stars of a Sherlock Holmes spin-off, but the actor admitted that he’s not very good at solving cases judging by his performance in the classic murder mystery game Cluedo.
“I come last every time I play with my family,” he said.
However, he likes to play the piano despite not being able to read musical notes.
“I play a lot of piano songs, but I can’t actually read music, so I look up YouTube tutorials and learn what I like there.”
