MANILA, Philippines – Greg Slaughter is back in the country after spending the last seven months training in the United States.
The 7-foot center left for the US last March, just a month after announcing his surprise sabbatical from basketball on social media.
His return is also in time for the PBA Philippine Cup restart in Clark on Sunday.

Slaughter, 32, helped Geneva win four PBA titles, including the 2019 Governors’ Cup last January.
However, Slaughter’s contract with Geneva expired at the end of January and his career at the PBA has been uncertain ever since.
