At 3am on Friday, the low pressure area (LPA) was estimated in the vicinity of Bubulong Munti, Bulacan, while the northeast monsoon will affect Luzon, PAGASA reported in its morning forecast.
Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, La Union and Pangasinan will have cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms due to the LPA with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains at times.
The Cordillera Administrative Region, the Cagayan Valley and the rest of the Ilocos Region will have cloudy skies with light rains caused by the Northeast Monsoon without significant impact.
The Bicol, MIMAROPA, Visayas and Mindanao region will have partly cloudy to overcast skies with isolated showers or thunderstorms due to easterly winds with possible flash floods or landslides during severe storms.
The wind speed forecast for northern and central Luzon is moderate to strong and moving northeast, while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Southern Luzon will have moderate to strong wind speeds moving east to northeast, while coastal waters will remain moderate.
Visayas and Mindanao will have mild to moderate wind speeds moving east to northeast, while coastal waters will be light to moderate.
