Local showbiz icon Sharon Cuneta was reunited with her daughter KC Concepción as the two spent Christmas with Cuneta’s husband, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, and their children.
“A quiet, peaceful and heartfelt Christmas with my Queen. Merry Christmas, sweethearts! “Concepción, Cuneta’s daughter with the actor and ex-husband Gabby Concepción, wrote on Instagram to accompany a photo of her and Cuneta.
On Cuneta’s account, she shared a picture of herself, Concepción and the Pangilinans, saying that “the Mega family completed this special day. . . praise the Lord!”
Also in the photo were brothers Frankie from Cuneta-Pangilinan and brothers Miel and Miguel.
With their reunion, a surprise gesture from Concepción, the apparent mother-daughter problem earlier this year now seems like a distant past.
Concepción’s absence during Cuneta’s birthday celebration in January triggered an exchange of messages on social media that revealed an apparent rift between the two.
They evidently made amends shortly after, when Cuneta promoted Concepción’s new YouTube page on Cuneta’s social media account.
