LOOK: Cayetano and Paolo Duterte are in the city of Davao in the middle of a row of houses

MANILA – House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano apparently flew to the city of Davao to meet with Vice President Paolo Duterte amid a line of speakers in the lower house.

The 2 legislators were photographed along with Cayetano’s wife, the representative of the second district of Taguig, Maria Laarni Cayetano, and the representative of the ACT-CIS party list, Eric Go Yap.

Yap, a close ally of Duterte, captioned the photos on Instagram as “Chillax Night.”

The House of Representatives has been in the throes of tension amid a shared term agreement that Cayetano signed with Marinduque representative Lord Allan Velasco.

Under the agreement, Cayetano would serve as Spokesperson for 15 months, to be replaced by Velasco for 21 months. Cayetano’s mandate is until next month.
