MANILA – Local band Ben & Ben and Thai Scrubb surprised their fans on Thursday with a collaboration that may be familiar to Filipino fans of the hit drama series “2gether”.

The two bands released the “fun collaboration” on social media, showing Ben & Ben using makeshift instruments at home, from the sound of washing their hands to brushing their teeth, for a remake of “Everything” by Scrubb.
Scrubb’s songs appear in the Thai drama BL (children’s love) “2gether”, which has become a social media sensation among Filipinos.
In fact, its main stars Bright Vachirawit and Win Metawin were interviewed by ABS-CBN last week, with part of the virtual meeting broadcast on “TV Patrol”.
In “2gether,” Bright and Win play Sarawat and Tine, schoolmates whose imaginary romance becomes real. The series’ strong presence on social media, including in the Philippines, is attributed to the growing popularity of Thailand’s BL genre locally.
