MANILA – The following local government units (LGUs) in Metro Manila have lifted a ban on the sale and consumption of liquor and other alcoholic drinks that has been in place since March due to the COVID-19 crisis.

-Pasay City

-Quezon City

Local officials earlier imposed liquor ban in their jurisdictions as the country quarantined millions to control the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Metro Manila, home to nearly 13 million people, will shift to a modified lockdown on Saturday, May 16, that allows the slow restart of the economy.
