Kawhi Leonard came in for a triple-double assist by finishing with 30 points, 11 rebounds and nine dimes as the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets 96-85 in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals to take a 3-1 lead.
Nikola Jokic had 26 points, 11 assists and six rebounds for the Nuggets who fell behind 69-53 near the end of the third period after coming back 18 points down to tie the score 48-48. The Clippers stayed safe, leading by up to 19 in the fourth period, one win away from his first appearance in a conference final.
Ivica Zubac contributed 11 points and nine rebounds to the Clippers. Jamal Murray added 18 points and seven assists for the Nuggets who will play their first “win or go home” game of the series on Friday (9/11).
