MANILA, Philippines – For KC Concepción, the relationship he had with Piolo Pascual was “very real”, which was his “first relationship announced”.

In an Instagram Live interview with entertainment writer G3 San Diego on Monday, the singer-actress recalled her love affair with Pascual and how she regrets that their relationship had to end.

“It was very real to me. That was my first advertised relationship, ”Concepción said.

“People know that naman was very real to me, and I was very young and naive. It was publicly announced, that’s why it also had to be publicly announced, “she added.

In 2009, the two worked together for ABS-CBN teleserye “Lovers in Paris”.

And in October 2010, Pascual confirmed that he and Concepción were together.

According to Concepción, Pascual courted her on and off For a couple of years.

But Concepción admitted that even before she got to work with “Papa P,” she remembered saying something about the actor to director Joyce Bernal.

“There was a time when he (Piolo) visited the set when I was making my movie with Chard,” Concepción said, referring to his “For the first time” co-star Richard Gutiérrez. That movie was directed by Bernal.

“He (Piolo) seems to have a mix. I remember that. It seems to have a mixture, it seems to have a light. “

(It’s like it has a halo. I remember it. It’s like it has a light).

However, some good things never last, as some would say that during a November 2011 interview with “The Buzz” Concepción confirmed that she and Pascual had separated.

Did you ever regret doing the interview? “I’m sorry we had to finish,” he replied.

“I think in any relationship, you really had faith in her, right? And you go into it without thinking that you want to finish it, you go on thinking that you want it. “

“So I think more than the interview, I mean on a personal level, you just regret having to finish.”

When asked later what she learned from her relationship with Pascual, Concepción said: “We all go through things in life, whatever you go through, you will bring it into the relationship you have.”

“You have to make peace with the things you went through before, before starting a relationship. Kasi kung hindi, bitbit mo ‘yun. (Because if not, you will continue to carry it) ”, he also said.
