MANILA, Philippines – Philippine sensation Kai Sotto became the latest prospect to skip college and take the NBA G League route.
The 7-foot-2-inch Sotto is joining the new G-League team in Southern California and teaming up with other prep stars Jalen Green, Isaiah Todd and Daishen Nix, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
“Kai Sotto, a 7-foot-2-inch center from the Philippines, decided to skip college and will be the first international prospect in the draft to sign a deal on the NBA G League pro program, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium,” Charania tweeted. Monday.
