Joe Wicks has been forced to stop doing his physical education classes after undergoing surgery for his injured hand.
The athlete, known as Body Coach, has revealed that his wife Rosie will replace him while he recovers.
He will continue to be involved in daily YouTube workouts to lead the routines, but his injury means he cannot demonstrate the moves, which will be left for Rosie.
It comes after Joe, 33, underwent a second operation on his hand this weekend after fracturing it in late March.
Taking Instagram on Satuday, Joe revealed that he is taking time to recover.
Sharing a photo of him and Rosie on their wedding day in 2019 to reveal that she would take over for the moment.
He captioned the post: “I had to call a supply master for Monday’s #pewithjoe. She’s my beautiful wife Rosie.
“She kindly agreed to come over to the live broadcast with me to demonstrate the movements, as I really need to rest my hand for a few days now that the cables have been removed.”
Joe praised Rosie for getting “out of her comfort zone” and agreeing to do the workouts, which are watched by hundreds of thousands of people every day.
He continued: “She is always there for me when I need her most and she knows how much it means to me that she does not disappoint anyone with these daily workouts.
“I will continue to lead the session and train everyone, but Rosie will demonstrate the exercises.
“We wish him good luck in his first physical education class.”
It ended with the hashtags #SupplyTeacher #substituteteacher #TeachingAssistant #HottestTeacherEver.
Joe was admitted to the hospital on Friday after the injury became inflamed.
He fractured his hand in late March after falling off his bike and has already undergone surgery for the injury.
But yesterday she woke up to intense pain and had the second operation today.
