Jesy Nelson dances around the kitchen to break up the song after Chris Hughes broke up

Jesy Nelson is sending a clear message to her ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes after their separation earlier this month.

The 28-year-old singer was filmed dancing around her luxurious kitchen with her band Little Mix’s new song Break Up Song in a video she posted on Instagram.

Dressed in a black crop top and matching matching shorts, Jesy lowered the camera lens as she moved her body to the beat of the music.

She sang along with the lyrics: “This is not a second chance, no, no, baby / This is not a new romance, not tonight / This is for all the nights I cried for you, baby.”

The song was written and recorded before Jesy and Chris parted ways, but it seems the lyrics are particularly touching for her now.

In the video, she was joined by her friend Charlotte Driver, who was dancing behind her in the clip.

They were also filmed dancing Mariah Carey’s fantasy.

Jesy captioned the video: “Fantasy. We have too much time on our hands @ charlotte.driver.”

Reports of the ex-couple’s breakup first appeared earlier this month.

None of them has confirmed or denied the break.

The couple is being locked up in separate houses and she is said to have finished things on the phone.

But while Jesy appears to be fine after the breakup, Chris appears to be struggling.

He called his life a “shit storm” and admitted that he is fighting insomnia.
