SAN Miguel will wear throwback jerseys in some of their games at the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup inside the bubble in Pampanga.
Some Beermen players showed the jerseys on their social media accounts as San Miguel Pale Pilsen celebrated its 130th anniversary.
There was a video of the Beermen players dancing while wearing their retro jerseys. The video was filmed during the resumption of training by the PBA teams.
San Miguel team manager Gee Abanilla confirmed that the retro jerseys will be worn during select games of the Philippines Cup at the University of Angeles Foundation gym.
“Atom Bomb from Parang ‘yung lang ni’s uniform,” Abanilla said when describing the jersey.

The jerseys were worn by 1990s brewers like Samboy Lim and Ato Agustín, currently one of the Beermen’s assistant coaches. The shirt also includes an old PBA logo patch.
The Brewers await their sixth consecutive Philippine Cup title inside the bubble with the defending champions going 1-0 at the restart of games.
