VOLLEYBALL star turned beauty queen Michele Gumabao capped her pageant career with a video that told it all.

Gumabao became the talk of the town last week due to her notable absence during the official announcement of the winners, after she finished second in this year’s Miss Universe Philippines pageant.

The former La Salle standout said that ‘rumors and lies’ that circulated online led her to break her silence, which the 28-year-old did through a 24-minute video titled “This is my statement, this is my story!”

“I’m not sharing this to attack anyone, I just want to share the truth so I can move on,” began his video posted on his own YouTube channel.

Directly, Gumabao said: “When everyone online started making stories, thinking they know me, thinking they know what really happened, what saddens me the most is that those who knew the reason I left, could have spoken to the respect”.

In a final plea, Gumabao asked people to stop spreading toxicity online.
