Hotshots have possible shooting in Geneva

MAGNOLIA captured its sixth consecutive victory to close out the knockout round with a 95-80 victory over Blackwater on Wednesday at the PBA Philippine Cup at the University of Angeles Foundation Sports and Cultural Center.

Blackwater succumbed to its eighth loss in a row with a 2-9 win-loss streak in a season in which Elite lost Paul Desiderio due to a “personal matter” and a player who became a “probable case” within the PBA bubble.

KG Canaleta had 14 points, and Don Trollano added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
