Habagat, Typhoon Julian Will Bring Rain Over Luzon, Western Visayas

MANILA, Philippines – The outer bands of Typhoon Julian, as well as the southwestern monsoon or “Habagat,” are expected to bring rain over various areas of the country Sunday night, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported. (Pay).

In its weather bulletin, Pagasa said Typhoon Julian was located 775 kilometers east of the city of Tuguegarao in Cagayan at 3pm.

Pagasa said Julian is seen to be leaving the Philippines Area of ​​Responsibility (PAR) on Monday night or early Tuesday.

In addition, the state meteorological bureau said the typhoon’s outer rain bands along with the southwestern monsoon will continue to bring rainfall over Luzon, including Metro Manila, western Visayas and Samar provinces.

The rest of the country can expect thunderstorms that will bring scattered showers, Pagasa said.

No gale warning is raised over the country’s coastlines, but the public is warned against boating, especially in eastern Visayas and Luzon.
