Greg Slaughter apologizes to Geneva management and wishes to meet with Kings

GREG Slaughter apologized to Barangay Ginebra management, specifically San Miguel Corp. director Ramon S. Ang and SMB sports director Alfrancis Chua, for the ‘misunderstanding’ that led to the decision to be made one sabatic year.

Slaughter apologized in an Instagram post Tuesday while expressing his desire to reunite with the Gin Kings in the upcoming PBA season.

The former No. 1 said his decision to take a year off from basketball greatly helped him in his desire to improve, both as a player and as a person.

“My only regret is that the communication between me and management, in particular Boss RSA and Coach @alfrancischua, was not as smooth as I would have liked. I want to apologize to them and the rest of the management for any misunderstandings or bad feelings that may have occurred due to my decision, ”Slaughter said.

“My only wish now for next year is to put that in the past and have a chance to get dressed again for the best fans in the world. I have learned a lot in the past year and I am excited to show everyone that the next phase of my career will be the best yet, ”he added.
