Globe Telecom expands 5G service in Manila

Globe Telecom said it has expanded its 5G service to more cities, including Taguig, Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, Paranaque, Muntinlupa, Las Pinas, Valenzuela and Caloocan in Metro Manila.

“We are rolling out our 5G within the select neighborhoods of these cities, which are residential areas and centers of daily commerce,” said Coco Domingo, Globe’s vice president for strategic platforms and partnerships.

Globe Telecom has also offered 5G phones to its prepaid and TM customers in key areas in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Makati CBD, Rockwell Center, Ortigas CBD, and other key locations along EDSA and C5.

5G SIM cards are available at all Globe stores, the online store, and official distributors and resellers.

Upgrading to a 5G phone is easier and more affordable with Globe Postpaid’s selection of the latest 5G phones that can be used at much lower prices with ThePLAN. The price and discounts applied to these mobile phones are available until September 30, 2020 through the Globe store and online stores.
