There was a series of strong physical plays from Steven Adams throughout the game, who dominated in the paint to fight on 14 rebounds, eight of which were on the offensive glass. As the only 7-footer on the floor, the Thunder’s starting center showed his strength from the start of the game with four offensive rebounds (five total) in the first five minutes after the leadoff.

During the night, the Thunder turned the ball 17 times, resulting in 20 points for the Rockets at the other end. Eight of those errors occurred in the 12-minute stretch of the third quarter where the Thunder struggled to generate or maintain their offensive rhythm. Ultimately, the stalemate on offense would be the biggest hurdle for the Thunder to overcome in Game 5 on Saturday.
“The main thing tonight was a couple of times there were too many turnovers,” Adams said. “Those are the ones that really hurt.” “Turnovers in the third quarter and the inability to really get something going in that third quarter certainly put a dent in for us and made it really difficult,” Donovan said.
“We know what we have to do and we have to respond. This group has always done that. ”

“We will go back to the drawing board, see what we did well and what we did not do well.
We have to let our defense create our offense and we will be fine. “ –Chris Paul
