Former President Arnulfo “Noli” Fuentebella died on Wednesday after nearly two years of fighting kidney disease. He was 74 years old.

Fuentebella served as the 19th Speaker of the House of Representatives from November 13, 2000 to January 24, 2001. He was elected to the position of President after the removal of then-Las Piñas Representative Manuel Villar.
He was removed and replaced by the then representative of the city of Quezón, Feliciano Belmonte, after only two months in his leadership, following the second EDSA revolution that overthrew then-President Joseph Estrada and installed Vice President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as its successor.
Fuentebella served as a congressman for the 3rd District of Camarines Sur from 1992 to 2001 and from 2004 to 2010. He was also elected as Deputy 4 of Camarines Sur from 2010 to 2013 and from 2016 to 2019.
