Mauro was called to central office to face an investigation after a leaked video showed that he was mistreating his unidentified assistant.

Locsin said the presidential management staff will receive the transcripts of the proceedings.

“If prima facie evidence can be established, a formal charge will be issued. In such a case, the defendant will have up to 10 days to present a written answer under oath, ”he said.

“Then a panel will hear the case and make its findings and recommendations depending on the merits of the case,” Abalos said.
