The entry of these persons will be subject to conditions such as being allowed entry without a visa under Executive Order No. 408, series of 1960; They are required to have a pre-booked quarantine facility and a pre-booked COVID-19 test at a laboratory operating at the airport. They must also be subject to the maximum incoming passenger capacity at the port and the date of entry.

The IATF directed the Immigration Office to formulate the necessary guidelines to ensure the smooth implementation of this policy.

Likewise, the Department of Tourism is ordered to issue the necessary guidelines for the provision of sufficient accommodation for the aforementioned persons, taking into account the publication of the results of the Covid-19 test.

The IATF, at its 85th meeting, also approved increasing the operational capacity of commissioned transportation services for employees of permitted offices or establishments, allowing them to adopt a “separate seat” arrangement or full seating capacity, provided there are dividers necessary. and other health and safety measures have been implemented.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Department of Commerce and Industry (DTI) will issue the necessary notices for private transport in this regard.

The recommendations of the technical working subgroup on information and communication technology solutions that include data collected through digital contact tracing applications must also meet the specific minimum data requirements as established in Memorandum No. 2020 from the Department of the Department of Health (DOH). 0436 and other relevant issues; and all data collected through digital contact tracing applications used by DOH accredited COVID-19 healthcare facilities, temporary treatment and monitoring facilities (TTMF), hospitals, establishments, workplaces, vehicles / transportation hubs and local government units (LGUs) to a centralized tracking data repository, which will be linked to Covid-Kaya or the Covid-19 Document Repository System (CDRS).

StaySafe.ph will be the government’s digital contact tracing app of choice and will be mandatory for adoption and use by all national government agencies and instrumentalities, as well as LGUs.

Private establishments, facilities and offices are encouraged to use Stafysafe.ph, while those with existing contact tracing applications are encouraged to integrate their systems with the Staysafe.ph system. (PR)
