Despite stepping away from the ring a few years ago, Floyd Mayweather has remained linked to a comeback from boxing. A lot of that has come in the way of a rematch against UFC star Conor McGregor. The talk has been going on long enough for Mayweather to finally give a truthful answer on what it will take to make another game.

After much hype about the possibility, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor agreed to a massive boxing match in August 2017.
The two spent much of the media tour before the game, badmouthing each other. However, it was a fight that, unsurprisingly, did not live up to expectations, as it was McGregor’s first professional boxing match. He was certainly shown to have a lot of energy early in the fight and got tired in the middle rounds.
Meanwhile, Mayweather advanced through the match very easily and apparently controlled every round. The fight was called off in the 10th round when the referee stopped it because he felt McGregor was not defending himself. It was a predictable route under the circumstances, but it hasn’t stopped the talk of a possible rematch.
Mayweather has addressed the situation again, but this time giving a firm answer on what it takes to fight McGregor again.

Throughout the later part of his boxing career, Floyd Mayweather made it very clear that he values the fight that makes him the most money.
It has been an important part of him winning significant pay from his last few fights, especially the fight against Conor McGregor. With that in mind, Mayweather has recently featured it at the Club Shay Shay podcast with Shannon Sharpe not fighting the UFC star unless he gets $ 300 million from the possible rematch.
“If I could win $ 300 million, absolutely. Conor McGregor can’t hit. “
There’s no question that Mayweather could make a hefty profit from any potential fight, but that may be a bit more difficult during this coronavirus pandemic. The first game saw him win $ 300 million, while McGregor made $ 100 million. He expressed that he values his health highly, which speaks to his firmness in the asking price for any potential fight.
If the two of them are going to explore this route in the future, it will only come down to money, and if that’s correct, there is no way Mayweather will turn it down.

As long as Conor McGregor continues to suggest his desire to fight Floyd Mayweather again, the conversation will remain.
With that said, McGregor is reportedly closing in on a deal to fight another boxing legend in Manny Pacquiao next year somewhere in the Middle East. Not many details have been presented, but there are some foundations that the two sides are building. If money is fine in this situation, it is hard to imagine that the two sides would not work to put together a fight.
Pacquiao will be the clear favorite, as he has also shown that he still has a lot to do. Meanwhile, the talk floats around Mayweather having arranged a boxing match against social media influencer Logan Paul. There is no clear confirmation of a fight, but it seems like an ongoing situation.
Ultimately, only time will tell on both fronts if something will happen.
