The Emmy and Peabody Award Winning Series Adventure time return to Asia with Adventure Time: Far Lands – Four new original one-hour specials. The first, titled BMO, now available to stream on HBO GO.
These long-awaited new specials will continue with Cartoon Network Adventure time Stories that captured the imagination and featured unlikely heroes and best friends, Finn the dog and Jake the human, who traversed the mystical Land of Ooo and encountered its colorful inhabitants.
- BMO follow the adorable robot from Adventure Time. When there’s a deadly space emergency in the farthest reaches of the galaxy, there’s only one hero to call out, and it’s probably not BMO. Except this time it is!
On the way to Mars, BMO is sucked into a wormhole and lands on an unknown alien world. On this distant decaying land, BMO finds competing alien races mired in conflict over increasingly scarce resources and is appointed sheriff of this seemingly lawless outpost.
He replaces a reluctant new friend, Y5, but Y5’s family has other plans for BMO: complete dismantling! Realizing the importance of BMO, Y5 joins forces with our robot hero to save this alien world and discover the real reason its people are on the brink of extinction.
In Southeast Asia, the remaining three episodes will be available on Cartoon Network and HBO GO in 2021.
- Obsidian features Marceline and Princess Bubblegum as they travel to the mighty and beautiful Kingdom of Crystal, and delve into its tumultuous past, to avoid a momentous catastrophe.
- Wizard city follow Peppermint Butler, starting from the beginning, as just another inexperienced student from the Wizarding School. When mysterious events on campus cast suspicion on Pep and his checkered past, can he master the mystical arts in time to prove his innocence?
- Together again reunites Finn and Jake again, to rediscover their brotherly bond and embark on the most important adventure of their lives.
Created by Pendleton Ward and executive produced by Adam Muto, Adventure time is a critically decorated show that garnered numerous entertainment awards and nurtured a generation of talent that has directed hits such as Steven Universe, on the garden wall, and Clarence. Adventure Time: Far Lands is produced by Cartoon Network Studios and is an HBO Max original series.
