MANILA, Philippines – Foreign Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. ordered Filipino ambassadors to the Middle East to exclude convicted Filipino drug traffickers from prisoner exchanges.
“I will not allow the pardon of convicted Filipino drug traffickers in the Middle East. My orders to my ambassadors there is to exclude drug traffickers from prisoner exchanges, ”Locsin said in a tweet on Friday.
Locsin added that he will “allow the law abroad to destroy them” because “unlike Indonesia, these traders were not misled.”
I will not allow the pardon of convicted Filipino drug traffickers in the Middle East. My orders to my ambassadors exclude drug dealers from prisoner exchanges. You destroy my people. I will kill, let the law outside destroy you. Unlike in Indonesia, these distributors were not fooled.

Recently, it was reported that 95 Filipinos detained in the United Arab Emirates for various crimes were released in exchange for two Emiratis pardoned by President Rodrigo Duterte.
Justice Department Undersecretary Markk Perete did not elaborate for what crimes the Filipinos had been detained.
Perete said the two Emiratis were released under a “prisoner exchange” agreement.
The president of the Senate, Vicente Sotto III, agreed with Locsin and said that it was also his position when he was president of the Board of Dangerous Drugs.
Exactly my position when I was Chairman of the Dangerous Drugs Board! Korek! https://t.co/mu4qdtGFeb
