Eminem he’s cleaning his closet to help out during the global pandemic … parting ways with an EXTREMELY rare and expensive pair of his Jordan 4s for COVID-19 relief.
The rap god announced the gesture Wednesday … saying he had an extra pair of his highly coveted Jordan 4 Retro “Carhartt x Eminem” kicks out there … so he joined the StockX shoe auction site to raise money. for good cause.
So … what makes these shoes so expensive? In 2015, Em and the Jumpman made only 10 (TEN !!!) pairs available to bid on eBay, with proceeds going to the Marshall Mathers Foundation.
Since then, only a few couples have reached out to family and friends … but for the most part, the rules have a chance of a snowball in hell holding them.
In fact, the pairs that have done it to resell go for INSANE numbers … ranging from $ 20- $ 28k on StockX.
To make Em’s gesture even sweeter, he’s throwing a vintage “Detroit Slim” shirt on top of the Js … with the combo proceeds going to the Solidarity Response Fund COVID-19.
Each ticket for the auction is worth $ 10 … which is way cheaper than $ 20k, but you have to be lucky on your side.
