TERRAFIRMA finally secured a victory in the PBA Philippine Cup bubble after defeating Blackwater, 110-101, on Friday at the University of Angeles Foundation Sports and Cultural Center.

Dyip leaned on CJ Perez, Roosevelt Adams and Juami Tiongson as they kept their quarterfinal hopes alive by containing Elite by a 1-7 scorecard in wins and losses.

While Perez and Tiongson had their usual offensive outings, Adams finally showed why he is Terrafirma’s first overall pick in last year’s draft with a double-double performance that sent Blackwater to its fifth straight loss.

Adams had career highs of 20 points and 16 rebounds for Dyip, who led by as many as 11 points and was able to contain an Elite rally in third.
