President Rodrigo Duterte signed an administrative order for a one-time incentive of up to P10,000 for employees of the executive branch.

The order covers civilian personnel of national government agencies, including those of state universities and colleges and government-owned and controlled corporations, as well as the military and police.

Consultants, workers hired through employment contracts, student and apprentice workers, and individuals hired through work orders and service contracts are not covered by the order.

Employees must be in government service as of November 30, 2020 to qualify for the incentive.

They must also have provided a total or aggregate of four months of “satisfactory service” by the end of November.

Employees who provide less than a total or a total of four months of satisfactory service as of November 30 will be entitled to a prorated portion of the incentive.
