DOH investigates ‘inconsistencies’ in COVID-19 data

MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Health (DOH) will examine the alleged inconsistencies in its data on cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country and will correct them “as soon as possible,” Health Secretary Francisco said on Wednesday. Duke III. .

The errors were allegedly detected from data collected between April 24 and April 25, where 45 cases have changed gender, while at least 75 patients became older or younger.

Meanwhile, at least 516 were reclassified to a different city or location, while one patient was reported dead, only to be declared a survivor of the disease the next day.

To date, the Philippines has 11,350 confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which 2,106 have recovered and 751 have died.
