MANILA, Philippines – Voter registration will be suspended from October 31 to November 2 of this year in observance of the season of “Undas” or the holidays of All Saints Day and All Souls Day, announced Thursday the Elections Commission.
In a notice, Comelec said that all Electoral Official Offices (OEO) across the country will be closed on these dates.
OEOs at the national level will resume operations on November 3.
Meanwhile, as of November 9, Comelec said that voter registration will be from 8 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday.
Voter registration amid the COVID-19 pandemic resumed on September 1, 2020.
Comelec reminded those who wish to register to continue to observe and practice minimum public health standards inside and outside Comelec offices. – Miggy Dumlao, fellow
