PRINCE Caperal has been working hard since the pandemic and his effort is paying off at the PBA Philippine Cup.
Barangay Geneva coach Tim Cone said Caperal was working on his conditioning months before the Philippine Cup with the help of assistant coach Kirk Collier.

“Poor boy,” Cone said jokingly. “It was like every day, ‘Come on Prince, let’s go to work.’ Really tough for him, but he did better. “
On Thursday, Caperal scored 24 points for Barangay Geneva in their 103-99 win over Blackwater for their second bubble win.

Caperal also had a solid outing in the Gin Kings’ opening game, scoring 11 points on a perfect 3-of-3 shooting from three. They also won that outing, 102-92.
Cone is confident that a Caperal in excellent condition will be an advantage for Geneva in the short season.
