MANILA – Kapamilya star Ivana Alawi set the trend on social media after Raffy Tulfo teased her on her radio show.
Thinking that Tulfo was only going to interview her, Alawi agreed to speak to the TV5 presenter only to be surprised with a complaint from a certain Loida Rivera from Cubao, Quezon City.
Rivera reportedly suffered from food poisoning after consuming the expired products Alawi gave to his community.
When Rivera began to ask Alawi for damages, the actress refused to give him money and instead offered to pay the hospital bills.
Alawi also offered to give Rivera a sari-sari story.
Things quickly escalated and the plaintiff allegedly began asking for more money for three other people in her community who also suffered the same fate as she.
Because of this, Alawi burst into tears at one point before Tulfo finally admitted that it was all just a joke.
At the time of writing, the clip of the prank that was uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday is the most trending clip on the video-sharing platform and already has over 7 million views.
