MANILA – Actress Claudine Barretto underwent surgery on her right hand on Sunday.
Barretto updated his followers on the procedure on Instagram.
“My right hand is going to operate. Good morning, when I see blue and green I get nervous,” Barretto published minutes before entering the operating room.
In another post, Barretto explained that he injured his hand last year during the wake of his father Miguel Alvir Barretto.
“If you remember last year, I was hospitalized during my father’s wake. My right hand had a little problem. When the doctor examined me, I had to undergo an emergency procedure or operation. So I ask everyone to please pray for me … don’t worry my palanggas and claudinians, kasi strong naman ako, kaya ko naman … I’m very scared, but my Ate Gretchen since this morning makes me laugh and laugh and laugh.
Last year, Claudine allegedly participated in a physical confrontation with her sister, Marjorie Barretto.
The youngest of the Barretto brothers suffered a hand injury and complained of dizziness after the alleged confrontation with Marjorie, according to Ruby Baguhin, who took the actress to hospital.
Baguhin, a member of Gretchen’s staff, had accompanied Claudine to the wake at The Heritage Park in Taguig.
The alleged altercation between Claudine and Marjorie came a day after Gretchen’s visit to the wake resulted in a fight involving other family members of Barretto.
