OPM icon Claire dela Fuente passed away at age 62 after suffering cardiac arrest this morning, March 30.

Relatives of the veteran singer confirmed her passing to composer and producer Jonathan Manalo, a friend of the family, ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe announced. Twitter at 11:03 am

Dela Fuente, who has been dubbed “The Karen Carpenter of the Philippines” and “The Sweetest Voice in Asia”, is known for OPM hits such as “Sayang”, “Nakaw na Pag-Ibig” and “Minsan, Minsan”. among others. .
