In a notice about the airline’s boarding requirements issued by the Chinese Embassy, ​​this policy applies to everyone, regardless of nationality, including Chinese living in the Philippines.

Passengers going to China via direct flights must undergo nucleic acid and IgM antibody tests within 48 hours before boarding at a medical institution designated or recognized by the Chinese embassy or its consulates.

For those with connecting flights, they must take nucleic acid and IgM antibody tests in the Philippines within 48 hours before boarding their flight to the transit country, then perform both tests again in the transit country within 48 hours before board the plane to China.

All travelers must request a green health code marked “HS” or a certified health declaration form with certificates of negative results for both tests.

For Chinese, they need to upload photos of their negative nucleic acid, IgM antibody test results, and flight itinerary to the WeChat Health Code app, which will then be examined and verified by Chinese consular officials.

Non-Chinese should email scanned copies of negative nucleic acid and IgM antibody test results along with passport information page, flight itinerary, and signed health declaration form to embassy or consulates Chinese.

The health declaration form can be downloaded from the website of the Chinese Embassy.

Passengers must present the green code within its validity period to airlines flying directly to China before boarding. The validity period of the sanitary code is calculated based on the sampling date.

A person who has not obtained the green health code marked “HS” or a certified health declaration form with negative nucleic acid and IgM antibody test results will not be able to board their flight to China.

Those traveling to China via connecting flights are reminded to check the entry regulations of the transit country and its IgM antibody and nucleic acid testing requirements in advance.
